Donkey Kong Country

Seventeenth in a series of video game posters.

The goal is to represent each title though basic elements featured in the game that would be immediately recognizable.

The buddy barrel seems to be the perfect symbol for Donkey Kong Country, while playing the game knowing the locations of these is a must as having that extra chance is god send in just about every one of the later levels. The distinctive "DK" label and the noise they make when a kong is trapped inside one waiting for you is forever etched in my brain. Many days were invested in this game on my part (even though it was from borrowed copies).
