The goal is to represent each title though basic elements featured in the game that would be immediately recognizable.
What did I do to deserve this, my Lord?! is somewhat of a hidden gem, available only on the PSP it is essential a dungeon building and managing game. But leaving it at that doesn't do it justice. The game casts you as a deity of destruction who has been summoned by a villain, simply named Badman, trying to takeover the world, he has brought you to him in order to build for him a formidable underground dungeon that will defend him against the kingdom's bravest heroes who are on the hunt to bring him to justice.
The poster here illustrates what Badman looks like in game in your dungeon. He doesn't really do much rather than dance around but in between levels he is an outstanding source of comedy, wit, and precious advice/feedback. And after all if it wasn't for his plot to take over the world you wouldn't be building a deadly fortress for him.
If you have a PSP be sure to pick this game up, the latest and best version of the game is available for $10 in the PSN Store, the original is at $6.
I have encountered the same problem with the game, only its great charm makes me come back to it occasionally, but I just find it unbeatable. I heard the latest in the series, No Heroes Allowed, allows for an "easy" mode so I might try that and convenience my hardcore gamer self I'm playing in the normal settings, hehe
Hehe, believe it or not that whole thing was the intended title for the game, but they were forced to take away that first bit, shame I know but it's still hilarious.
I hope so too mate, this new initiative from Sony to port PSP games to the PS3 has me excited, I would really love this game to be on the PS3, with some co-op too!
Yes it's such a great shame this game is only available for that platform, and I wouldn't recommend getting a PSP just for this, hopefully one day there are PC ports, or maybe even emulators. Too classic to be left behind.
