Tenth in a series of video game posters.
The goal is to represent each title though basic elements featured in the game that would be immediately recognizable.
For Mass Effect a key piece of technology that allows for the communication and travel through the galaxy is the mass relay system. Each node significantly improved the technological advancement and culture of a nearby species and humans were no exception. Including this central artifact is quite appropriate for the poster.

Vision Originality Technique ImpactIt's been a while...
Anyway, before I start wasn't the Omega 4 Relay in ME 2 only? I'ne never played the first one so I don't know.
When I first saw this piece of art your technique really impressed me: I mean the combination of a 2D enviroment and the 3D orb inside of it. I really love the idea. That's why I gave full on 5 stars on Technique & Impact. It was simply amazing.
Now, what I don't like so much is that you actually chose the Omega 4 Relay, I understand that it plays a very big part in the story of ME and actually other installments in the series, but it isn't what defines Mass Effect. When I think of Mass Effect I think of the characters mostly and the story, but the Relay is not the first thing that comes into my mind. And if I am not mistaken your series is based on the idea of showing a simplistic piece of art which lets you remember the game and how amazing it was.
That's the reason why your vision rating is so low.
I put Originality a bit higher BECAUSE you thought of the Omega-4 Relay when doing the poster, I wouldn't and I'm pretty sure not a lot of people would've gotten your idea.
Keep doing what you're doing because you're good at it.
